Drawing life. A @gapingvoid portrait
One of the things I can do is drawing. Unfortunately, I never studied enough so I lost my touch. I can draw concepts, but I will not stick to drawing something ’till the end. I’m not as patient as I’d love to be. But that doesn’t mean I don’t keep on drawing. Once in a while, I take a piece of paper and a pen an start scratching.
One of the things I learned during these years is that if you want to be good at something you have to stick with it and persevere. Yes, perseverare diabolicum, you might say. Funny, true, but not entirely true. Sometimes, perseverare diabolicum turns to Evil Plans. “Evil Plans” is what Hugh would say about building a life and having fun while adding the bricks.
So, basically, I thought it would be a shame to waste my piece of talent and I should keep on drawing. That, until I might even find an art school that might take me. I’m not kidding, I still hope one day I’ll go to an art school. I already have the soul of an artist, the only thing I need is the diploma. No, really, one day I’ll actually do this the proper way. Until then, I’ll just stick to scratching the paper and publish my naive drawings. Like this Hugh portrait.
PS: Meanwhile, I’ll just continue to do my minimalist designs for the web. Yeah, using Photoshop, HTML and CSS.
